過去時與過去完成時區(qū)別(過去完成時和一般過去時的區(qū)別)

1.與現(xiàn)在完成時態(tài)連用，表示“從現(xiàn)在開始追溯到過去的一段時間”，如：

I think we've met before.

我覺得我們以前見過面。

My brother has never been abroad before.

我的哥哥以前沒有去過國外。

I've been here before.

我以前來過這兒。

Have you ever used this software before?

你以前用過這種軟件嗎？

Have you heard about it before?

你過去聽說過這件事嗎？

I have never met him before.

我以前從未見過他。

I’ve never heard that word before.

我以前從沒有聽過那個詞。

2.與過去完成時連用，表示“從過去的一個時間點(diǎn)算起的以前”，如：

The war had ended only a month or so before.

戰(zhàn)爭大約一個月前才剛剛結(jié)束。

It had been fine the week before (= the previous week) .

前一個星期天氣很好。

That had happened long before (= a long time earlier) .

那是很早以前的事了。

He said that he had met the man somewhere before.

他說他以前在什么地方見過這個人。

Several weeks had gone by before I realized the painting was missing.

幾周之后，我才意識到那幅畫丟了。

We went to that movie a few nights ago. We hadn’t gone to that before.
